Jake Barber, a former U.S. Air Force pilot, said on a program that he was called by the government to help recover a UFO.

Veteran Jake Barber told NewsNation that he was ordered to fly a helicopter to assist the U.S. government in recovering a UFO. According to the former Air Force pilot, the object was strange and nothing like what is seen in movies.

Barber described the UFO as white and egg-shaped, and it was 45 meters away from the pilot. The encounter with the object was not a unique experience for the veteran.

“I can say that the reaction of my team showed that we all knew we were dealing with something extraordinary,” he said.

A 1957 report made by two controllers from the Civil Aeronautics Administration at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico also claims to have seen the object.

The UFO reportedly passed by one of the base towers, hovered for about a minute, and quickly disappeared into the cloudy sky.

Sue Gough, a spokeswoman for the Department of Defense, told NewsNation that the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) has no information supporting claims of possession of extraterrestrial materials.
